Olivia "Liv" Perrotto

July 28, 2010 – January 14, 2026

“

In 2022, young Liv was invited by the Polaris Dawn mission crew to design the zero-gravity indicator plush. Inspired by Elon Musk's Shiba Inu, Floki, she sketched "Asteroid" in about 30 minutes.

Her creation flew to space as the official zero-gravity indicator during the September 2024 Polaris Dawn mission. Proceeds from replica plushies were donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

POLARIS DAWN MISSION

Liv passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 15, after a long battle with undifferentiated sarcoma. Her dream and courage became the core narrative for both the Ethereum and Solana Asteroid Shiba ($ASTEROID).
